BUSY YEAR !

Saturday 20th October -  The Band have had a busy summer, with a great mix of gigs and two succesful week-ends recording. Steve is planning next year now and still getting enquiries for the rest of this year.

Moving with the times !

Because of venue requests, the Band now have full Public Liability Insurance and all the bands equipment is fully tested and electrically safe. So you can now book, or come to gigs, in the safe knowledge that, if any member of the Band attacks you or throws their equipment at you, you shouldn't be electrocuted. If you are though, you will be fully compensated !!

MORE NEW DEMO TRACKS

Thursday 26th July - Over the weekend we recorded four more demo tracks; 1000 trees, Ever fallen in love, Start and Basket case. We went back to blue moon studio and were again really happy with the results.

We've been gigging a bit over the last few months and have started doing a lot more private gigs lately (weddings/corporate events). Our next pub gig booked is not until we play the Avon in October! Hopefully we'll see the regulars there!

A big thanks to Mark at blue moon studio, it was great weekend recording/mixing and we would recommend blue moon to anyone thinking of putting a demo or album together.

Our next gig is back at the Avon on Friday then we're taking a break for a few weekends as I'm heading back to New Zealand for some sun and a wedding (not mine tho!).

Sunday 4th March - Yes we're back in business with our first gigs of the year. Thanks to everyone involved in the birthday gigs at both the Banbury and Abingdon Cricket clubs. We had a great time and have had some great feedback from both gigs (always nice to know you're appreciated!).

Steve's come through for us with plenty of gigs over the next few months. We'll be back in the Buck to kick off their Sunday music nights. Hope to see plenty of support for that one.

MANTLEFEST

23rd September - Our second festival of the month. The two day festival featured 18 bands, and was in honour of Dave Mantle who was tragically killed in a motorbike accident on the 8th of July 2006.

"Its aim is to raise money for the BMF, the British Motorbike Federation; Horton Hospital Accident and Emergency Department, Banbury; and Dave’s long term partner, Helen."

At the last update the festival had raised £1853.87! which is great news for all involved. It is also planned to be an annual event so keep an eye out for Mantlefest 2007. For more details of this cause check out : http://www.davemantle.co.uk/. For us, it was great to be involved in this cause and we all really enjoyed the gig.

NEW NUMBERS

15th September -  We've been plugging away at some new covers and trying to vary the set a little - it's been hard work but in the last couple of months we've manage to get 6 new numbers into the set!! We are currently working on another batch of great new tracks - once the set has been revitalised we are planning on working on some new Uninvited originals!!

KRAFT K-FEST

9th September -  We headlined at our first festival on the 9th of September - it was a great day and made a nice change to have lots of space on stage - the weather managed to hold out adding to the mood of the whole day!!

From Kraft: "Fantastic performance, A massive thanks from Kraft Foods for headlining at K-fest 2006. We were so impressed with the quality and the way you got the crowd going with your lively set. Looking forward to next year!."
